Nice photos Sue, Good work there Girl!!!

  2. Beautiful historic exploration between light and shadows. I like the warm and rough textures (wood and bricks) and this little bit of green grass on the first picture.

  3. Julie says:

Lovely sets, both. I like how you gave us a glimpse of the whole yesterday and then today, more of a detailed view. My favorite is the red seedpods on the wall.

Looks like my kind of place to shoot. Lived in Illinois 25 years, but never made it to the southern tip. Love the simplicity in the photos.

  6. totally inspiring group of images Sue.

  7. Anita says:

Great images! They take me right into the rooms and allow me to feel the atmosphere. I like the work you did with the straight lines, the textures, the details, the light. Beutifully done. Did you use HDR?

  8. suehenryphotography says:

Hi Anita, Believe it or not, most every one of these were “hand held HDR” shots. I was more than just a little surprised that hand held could work!!! I used three exposures: two stops under and two stops over.

Thanks, as always, for your blog visits and comments! Sue
