Houston — We Have A Problem

I talked with my daughter-in-law this morning and she relayed to me that my older grandson keeps checking my blog to see if there are any photos of him posted. For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you know that he was here visiting a couple of weeks ago.  And, of course I took a few snapshots while he was here.

This grandmother can’t disappoint her grandson.  If I post a few images of him, our dilemma will be solved and I’ll be back in his good graces.

And, here’s one from one of our visits to Nashville where we enjoyed a soccer game.

Disclaimer:  This post is purely one to cater and/or indulge our older grandson’s wishes!  Remember…I don’t claim to be a “people photographer!”  Thanks for bearing with me.

So very sweet..and such wonderful images. Nice that he checks-out your blog to find photos of himself. He won’t always want to have his picture taken. Enjoy!!!

    Sweet little guy!

What I love about these is that they all show him being a kid, not gussied up and posed for the camera. And, I love the shots that focus on something other than his face – they seem to show how he interacts with his environment at this age. You’ve got a people photographer in you, I’m sure of it!

Don’t apologize for your portraiture. I love these shots.Your grandson will be thrilled. Just as his grandma must be thrilled when she gets to spend time with him. So sweet.

Bo, I’m laughing! You see, I have several “regulars” who visit this blog who truly specialize in portrait photography, and well, I just don’t typically enjoy photographing people! Give my my flowers, my trees, my rust and I’m a very happy camper!

I simply take snap shots when it comes to people. Some times I get lucky and a few of the snap shots will be kind of nice. But, they still remain just that — snap shots!

But you are right — my grandson will be thrilled and his grandma loves every minute of our visits.

I love the “concentrating” photo. The look on his face is priceless. The set shares a point of view and a mood. I think it’s great!

No need to apologize! I love it when artist share a little of their lives with us!

    Have a great weekend!

Cute, cute photos of your grandson! Nothing wrong with these images, Sue. Love the one with his tongue sticking out as he’s concentrating at the task at hand. 🙂

  7. so cute that he was checking out your blog for photographs! My son is trying everything he can to avoid being on my blog any more! 🙂

Every child ought to have a grandma like you, to showcase him/her!
