Oh No! She’s Gone to the Birds!

Birds are typically not my best subjects.  Last week’s weather, however,  presented some unusual photo opportunities.  Some images have been taken from inside my back door.  I set up a tripod and simply left if by the door; from time to time I would jump up and take a few shots!  Other images were taken during my morning walks.

I could stay at my window for a thousand days and not get a single good shot. these are all wonderful.

Hey, it just dawned on me. You have robins trying to make it through that crazy weather. They sure came north way too early!

  3. suehenryphotography says:

Yes, the robins do look out of place. You will not believe but it’s 40 degrees today, the snow and ice totally gone. Many folks, however, are STILL without power and will be for another week or two. Too many power POLES down, not just lines.

We still don’t have TV or cable….but, hey….I’m not going to complain! We are warm, can take showers, and cook hot meals. Far too many others don’t have those conveniences!

Those poor birds must have been having a terrible time finding food. At least the ice is gone now…

nice shots Sue…poor birds must have been wondering what the heck was going on!!

You know, Cathy…the birds were absolutely loving the tree limbs that had fallen; easy access to berries I suppose.

The birds stand out against the bare, icy branches.
