A New Tradition

A new tradition has been started in our family!

Our four-year old grandson threw a fit in the grocery story. He insisted on purchasing fresh flowers for the dining room table for the Christmas dinner.

"Why do we HAVE to have fresh flowers?" our daughter-in-law asked amid the busy store. (She was probably more than a little "harried" at the time; toting the new baby, trying to keep up with the four-year old, AND doing the grocery shopping.)

"Because we ALWAYS have fresh flowers for every birthday party, and you told me Christmas is really Jesus’ birthday!"

It’s a nice tradition, don’t you agree?

Nice image, as others have mentioned, the reflections in the glass are a nice touch. Children have impecable logic. Good for his mother to recognize and act on it.
