The "Rest of the Story"

Many of you have asked about this beautiful porch featured in the last couple of posts.  He’s the story:

While on a photo outing with a group of friends, I spotted this beautiful porch and was ‘itching’ to photograph it.

A neighbor across the street said, “Oh she wouldn’t mind if you went on the porch to photograph it.”  I said, “Ummm, I don’t think so.  Taking pictures of houses from the sidewalk doesn’t bother me — that’s standing on public property.  But going ON someone’s property is a different story.”  Before I knew what was happening, the neighbor lady whipped out her cell phone and called the owner (who happens to be a designer, I’m told!)

With that phone call, permission was granted to explore the porch — and what a visual treat that was!  WOW!  It’s pretty, isn’t it!
