I go to the same spot each visit to the Smokies to photograph the sunrise. Each sunrise unique, and so far never disappointing. *sigh*

I am from a town just outside the Smokies. I now longer live there but part of my heart still does. Where is your special sunrise spot? I love this shot. Makes me want to go home.
We always stay in Townsend TN. The sunrise spot is at an overlook on the Foothills Parkway. It’s no secret spot — there are always other photographers there, rain or shine! (or snow)
