This is a touching capture, rather metaphorical.

At first something about this shot bothered me, it is the wet spot on the plaque. I thought it was a shadow at first, then I thought how distracting it was. Then the quote kicked in, like a memory the spot lingers, like the leaf does also, eventually the spot will be as dry as the “O”, the leaf will fulfill it role that young Bryant wrote about in Thanatopsis.
