“Beautiful and graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable, butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine.” ~Jeffrey Glassberg
Heather McCulluh of “One Shot Beyond Photography” posted her Tuesday Texture Challenge on her blog today. I was especially taken with her subtle, nubby silk like texture she offered as a free texture and decided to have a play with it this afternoon.
This particular texture, in my opinion, allows the artist to create an effect that looks like lovely painted silk. I’m just thrilled with this texture and want to send a great big “THANKS” to Heather for allowing photographers to use her custom created textures.
And, I’m trying to decide if I want to use this as a new note card.

No decisions necessary! Note card material all the way!
Wonderful use of Heather’s texture along with a beautiful butterfly photo!
Makes me want to revisit all of last years flowers and butterfly photos and see what I can do with them!!

wonderful job Sue! Unbelievable that a simple wall texture can help compliment the beauty of your photography. I took that textured photograph last week on our fishing trip while making my way back to the car from the boat. So glad you used it!
